Hokoridos is a dual-type Water/Flying Pokémon.
It evolves from Magikarp when holding a King's Rock. It is one of Magikarp's final forms.

Physiology
Hokoridos is a small dragon Pokémon. It's lizard-like body is mostly red, but its underbelly is yellow, with a blue crown-shaped scale which covers its head. It has a three-pointed, red crest on its back and like Magikarp, it has one barbel on both sides of its face. Its pectoral and dorsal fins also resemble Magikarp's.

Behavior
This Pokémon is highly intelligent unlike it's simple-minded pre-evolution.

Habitat
Hokoridos are amphibious and are thus often found in shallow waters or near lakes.

Evolution
This evolution happens when a Magickarp is given a King's Rock.

Name Origin
Hokoridos's name is a combination of Hokori which means pride and dosu which is a Japanese onomatopoeic word representing the piercing of flesh.

Actually, when I created it I did so by having a triturus in mind! ^_^" Triturus are sluggish and all so ,in contrast, I thought making Hokoridos really fast in water.
